List of general competencies

05. The ability to solve complex problems of the economy on the basis of a systematic scientific worldview and a general cultural outlook while observing the principles of professional ethics and academic integrity.
06. The ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of economics, mastering basic concepts, understanding theoretical and practical problems, the history of development and the current state of economic knowledge, mastering terminology from modern scientific experience.
07. The ability to acquire the universal skills of a researcher, oral and written presentation of the results of one's own scientific research, the use of modern information technologies in scientific activities, the organization and conduct of training sessions, the management of scientific projects and the preparation of proposals for the financing of scientific research, the registration of intellectual property rights.
Special (professional) competences
01. The ability to perform original research, achieve scientific results that create new knowledge in economics and related interdisciplinary areas and can be published in leading scientific publications in economics and related fields.
02. The ability to orally and in writing present and discuss the results of scientific research and innovative developments in Ukrainian and English, a deep understanding of English-language texts on economics.
03. Ability to use modern information and communication technologies, databases and other information resources, specialized software in scientific and educational activities.
04. The ability to carry out scientific and pedagogical activities in institutions of higher education.
05. The ability to identify, in-depth analysis and solve problems of a research nature in the field of economics, taking into account economic risks and possible socio-economic consequences, to evaluate and ensure the quality of performed research, including on issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
06. The ability to justify and prepare economic decisions based on understanding the patterns of development of socio-economic systems and processes using mathematical methods and models.

Program learning outcomes
01. To have advanced conceptual and methodological knowledge of economics, management of socio-economic systems and at the border of subject areas, as well as research skills sufficient to conduct fundamental and applied research at the level of world achievements in the relevant field.
02. To deeply understand the basic (fundamental) principles and methods of economic sciences, as well as the methodology of scientific research, to create new knowledge in the field of economics in order to achieve economic and social development in the conditions of globalization.
03. Develop and research fundamental and applied models of socio-economic processes and systems, effectively use them to obtain new knowledge and/or create innovative products in economics and related interdisciplinary areas.
04. Apply modern tools and technologies for searching, processing and analyzing information, in particular, statistical methods for analyzing large data sets and/or complex structures, specialized software and information systems.
05. Propose new solutions, develop and scientific projects that provide an opportunity to rethink existing and create new holistic knowledge and/or professional practice and solve significant and fundamental and applied problems of economic science, taking into account social, economic, environmental and legal aspects; to ensure the commercialization of the results of scientific research and the observance of intellectual property rights.
06. Freely present and discuss with specialists and non-specialists the results of research, theoretical and practical problems of the economy in national and foreign languages, competently reflect the results of research in scientific publications in leading scientific publications.
07. Apply innovative scientific and pedagogical technologies, formulate content, learning goals, ways of achieving them, forms of control, bear responsibility for the effectiveness of the educational process in compliance with the norms of academic ethics and integrity.
08. Plan and carry out empirical and/or theoretical research in the field of economics and related interdisciplinary areas, critically analyze the results of own research and the results of other researchers in the context of the entire complex of modern knowledge regarding the researched problem.
09. Formulate and test hypotheses; use appropriate evidence to substantiate conclusions, in particular, the results of theoretical analysis, empirical research and mathematical and/or computer modeling, available literature data.
